Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at a gambling centre in a garden under Koelwar police station area in Bhojpur District on June 10, 2020, morning, and arrested six gamblers. Police also seized four motorcycles, seven mobile phones, and Rs 36,000 cash from their possession.
The arrested gamblers were identified as Munna Kumar, Dashrath Ram, and Ram Nandan Prasad of Suraundha Colony, Nirmukh Narayan Singh alias Nishu Singh of Giddha under Koelwar police station, Pushpendra Kumar of Kulaharia, and Manish Kumar Singh of Matiyaara under Kulharia police station areas in Bhojpur district.
Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar said that some gamblers were gambling at a garden near Giddha village under Koelwar police station. On getting information about it, SHO, Koelwar police station, P K Bhaskar, along with police force conducted raid and arrested six gamblers and seized four motorcycle, seven mobile phones, and Rs. 36,000 cash from their possession.
