Buxar : Police seized 27 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and arrested a liquor smuggler on Ganga Bridge connecting Bihar and Uttar Pradesh under Buxar Town police station in Buxar District on September 15, 2020, late evening. A named FIR was lodged by police against the arrested liquor smuggler and he was sent to jail after interrogation.
SHO, Buxar Town police station, said that during vehicle checking drive on Ganga Bridge police intercepted a person on suspicion. Seeing police, he tried to escape but police chased and caught him and seized 27 bottles of IMFL from his possession. The liquor bottles were tied to his body.
