Ara : Police arrested a driver Gautam Singh near Bihia Chaurasta under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district on July 30, 2019, late evening, for allegedly sexually exploiting teenage girls after trapping them in his love. Police also recovered a teenage girl, who was kidnapped few months back, from his possession under Shahpur police station area.
Police brought the girl over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced her before Ara Civil Court to get her statement recorded under Section 164 CrPC. Ppolice sent Gautam Singh to jail after interrogation.
SHO, Shahpur police station, Deep Narayan Singh said that Gautam Singh, drivder of an influential person of the area, used to entice teenage girls and sexually exploited them. Some parents kept mum due to social stigma but parents of two teenage girls lodged two separate FIRs with Bihia and Shahpur police stations against Gautam Singh. After institution of FIRs, police swung into action and started investigating into the matter and also conducting raids to arrest Gautam Singh.
The SHO said that Gautam Singh enticed two teenage girls, said to be friends, of Bihia areas and outraged their modesty. He kept one of them in Kolkata and another at Ludhiana. He also tied knot with both of them separately in a fake manner and convinced them they were his wives and repeatedly outraged their modesty. In the meantime, the son of his landlord in Kolkata eyed the girl kept there by Gautam so the latter brought her over her to Shahpur and police arrested him and recovered the girl. Police are trying to recover the second girl from Ludhiana. The SHO said that Gautam Singh confessed that he had physical relation with a married woman of the area.
