Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at village Barap under Gadhani police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar onFebruary 23, 2021, night, and arrested a miscreant when he hatching plan to commit crime. Police recovered a loaded pistol, one countrymade pistol, and 13 live cartridges from his possession.
The arrested miscreant was identified as Munna Pandey, son of Manteshwar Padney of village Barap under Gadhani PS. Bhojpur SP Har Kishore Rai said that he got information on February 23, 2021, late evening, that Munna Pandey was hatching plan to commit crime somewhere at Barap village. The SP sent a police team under SHO, Gadhani PS, Jitesh Pandey, which arrested Munna Pandey.During search, police recovered one loaded pistol, one countrymade pistol, one holster, and 13 live cartridges from his possession.
The SP further said that Munna Pandey had criminal background and a number of criminal cases were pending against him with police.
