Buxar : Police on July 28, 2020, arrested two most wanted criminals from two different places in Buxar district. The arrested miscreants were identified as Vikram Yadav, 30, of Satuhadi village, and Mohan Yadav, 21, of Mahdah village. They were wanted in a number of criminal cases pending against them with different police stations.
Police arrested both the miscreants in connection with a cash loot case in July 2020 from Bank of India, Mahdah branch, Ithadi road, under Buxar Muffassil police station in Buxar district. Police have arrested four miscreants in this regard so far.
Buxar SP Upendra Nath Verma on July 28, 2020, said that the Sikraul police station got information that a most wanted criminal Vikram Yadav was living at Paniwari village. Police surrounded the village to arrest the miscreant. Vikram Yadav fired on the police team but the police succeeded in arresting him and recovered a countrymade pistol, two live cartridges, and two blank cartridges from his possession.
The SP said that police arrested Mohan Yadav from police line and seized a motorcycle and a mobile from his possession. The motorcycle was bought from the looted money.
The SP stated that at least eight armed miscreants had looted Rs 4.61 lakh from Mahdah branch of Bank of India on July 7, 2020, and the police have arrested four of them so far and seized Rs 15,000 only.
