Motihari : Police on April 3, 2019, arrested seven members of a gang including its kingpin Sandip Kumar of Bara district of Nepal at Raxaul in East Champaran district and seized a looted motorcycle , a pistol, live cartridges and cellphones from their possession. They were sent to jail. All the arrested criminals are notorious bike snatchers of the district.
East Champaran SP Upendra Kumar Sharma told mediapersons here that the arrested criminals had looted a motorcycle from one Mukesh Sah near Raxaul at gun point on April 2. They had shot at Mukesh Sah when he resisted them. But, police arrested all of them after 24 hours and recovered the looted bike.
