Buxar : Police arrested six persons including Buxar District Board member Parma Yadav from their houses under Chakki police outpost areas in Buxar District on April 13, 2021, for allegedly thrashing and injuring some persons of the village in a land dispute. After their arrest, Buxar District Board Member Parma Yadav allegedly threatened the police personnel with dire consequences after his release from jail.
SHO, Chakki police outpost, Junaid Alam, said that two groups had clashed over a piece of land at Visheshwar Dera under Chakki block in Buxar district on April 12, 2021. Members of a group thrashed and injured family members of Shukla Yadav of another group including his daughter Sima Kumari 19. The injured were admitted to Chakki Primary Health Centre (PHC) but the doctor referred them to Ara Sadar Hospital after first aid.
A named FIR was lodged with Chakki police outpost against half a dozen including Parma Yadav in connection with attempt to murder. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and arrested he named accused Parma Yadav, Badri Yadav, Sanjay Yadav, Santosh Yadav, Ashok Yadav, and Mahant Yadav, from their houses. Later, police sent them to jail after interrogation.
The SHO further said that Parma Yadav threatened him and all the police personnel with dire consequences after his release from jail though he added that the police will never yield to such threats.
Buxar SP Neeraj Kumar Singh said that the accused were arrested on the basis of FIR lodged against them and if they threatened, legal action would be taken against them.
