Buxar : Police arrested five miscreants on December 9, 2020, in connection with murderous attack on farmers near village Basaw Kala under Sikraul police station in Buxar district injuring five of them.
An FIR was lodged with Sikraul police station in this connection on the statement of the injured farmers in. SHO, Sikraul police station, Alok Ranjan, said that some farmers were working in their field near village Basaw Kala on December 9, 2020, when some armed miscreants came there and attacked them with traditional weapons in which at least five farmers were injured. Later, they were admitted to Buxar Sadar Hospital. The doctor there referred one of them Shiv Shankar Choubey to Patna Medical College Hospital inview of his precarious condition.
The SHO said that after institution of FIR, police swung into action and arrested five miscreants in this regard and sent them to jail after interrogation.
The SHO said that some bullies were trying to capture the field of Shiv Shankar Choubey, who protested it. Meanwhile, the bullies destroyed the crops in his fieled by spraying poison. After that, Shiv Shankar Choubey had lodged a named FIR with police. In protest, the bullies attacked Shiv Shankar Choubey and other farmers with traditional weapons.
The SHO further said that police surrounded the Shivyogi forest and arrested five miscreants Krishna alias Bhuteli Yadav, Birendra Singh Yadav, Pintu Yadav, Mintu Singh Yadav, and Ritesh Singh Yadav though others are absconding. He said thatpolice are conducting raids to arrest the restof the accused.
