Patna : Police arrested three Zarda traders from their respective shops in Mansurganj area under Malsalami Police station, Patna, on July 4, 2018, morning, for selling duplicate zarda under the name of famous Prabhat Zarda. They were selling duplicate under the popular brand name Prabhat Zarda products namely Ratna 300 and Ratna 64.
The arrested traders were identified as Pramod Kumar, 45, Sanjay Kumar, 35, and Jagdev Prasad, 50. Kailash Chauhan, GM, Prabhat Zarda, the complainant, had registered an FIR with police in this connection, according to SHO, Malsalami Police station. The SHO said that police also seized 16 boxes of Zarda of 50 grams each.
