Buxar : Police arrested three miscreants on November 10, 2020, in connection with skirmishes and rampage on the campus of Brahmeshwar Nath temple under Brahmpur Police Station in Buxar District on November 6, 2020.
The arrested miscreants were identified as Bittu Yadav, Bharat Kumar Yadav, and Gora Yadav of Brahmpur. Later, police produced them before a court and they were sent them to jail under judicial custody.
SHO, Brahmpur police station, Nirmal Kumar said that police have identified the miscreants involved in skirmishes on the campus of Brahmeshwar Nath temple with the help of CCTV footage and added that they are conducting raids to arrest them. He said that an FIR has been lodged with Brahmpur police station against 100 persons including 20 named persons in connection with the incident.
It may he mentioned here that some anti-social elements intruded the Brahmeshwar Nath temple on November 6, 2020, late evening and scuffled with the priests there. They also went on rampage and set ablaze over 50 shops and damaged properties. The also looted shops and decamped with booty.
