Jamui : Special Task Force and CRPF, in ajoint operation, arrested two notorious Maoists from Karmatia forest under Sono Police Station in Jamui district in Bihar on June 11, 2018, late night. Jamui is about 160 km from Patna.
Confirming the arrest of the two Maoists, Jamui SP Jugunatharaddi Jalaraddi said that police also seized two detonators, 10 Gelatin sticks, 10 metre long electric wire, two countrymade pistols, and some live rounds from the hideout of the arrested Maoists. The SP said that the two Maoists were wanted in a murder case and were arrested on secret information.
The arrested Maoists were identified as Sanjay Yadav and Mukesh Yadav. They were members of the armed squad of the banned naxal outfit.
