Police arrest 2 criminals with firearms from Bhojpur village

Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at village Kosiyarwa under Agiaw Bazaar police station on February 18, 2019, evening, and arrested a miscreant Sudarshan Kumar foiled his he bid to perpetrate crime. Police also arrested a contract killer Narayan Tiwari, son of late Ram Ji Tiwari of village Nawadih under Dawath police station in Rohtas district besides seizing two double barrel countrymade pistols, one live cartridge, six blank cartridges, and three mobile phones from his possession. He is said to be a close aide of an inmate of Ara jail, a notorious criminal, Binay Yadav.

Bhojpur SP Aditya Kumar said on February 19, 2019, that an inmate of Ara jail, Binay Yadav of village Kosiyarwa, had some dispute with some people of his village and so he hatched a plan to take revenge and gave contact to Narayan Tiwari of Nawadiha village in Rohtas district. Binay Yadav managed the arms and kept them at his house.

Sudarshan Kumar and Narayan Tiwari went to Binay Yadav’s house at Kosiyarwa to take the arms but in the meantime police got the information. Bhojpur SP formed a team under SDPO, Piro, Reshu Krishna, and police conducted raids at Kosiyarwa  and arrested Sudarshan Kumar and Narayan Tiwari along with firearms, cartridges, and three mobile phones. One of the seized mobile was seized from Binay Yadav, who is undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital, Ara.

The SP said that two more persons have been identified whom Sudarshan Kumar had given firearms on the direction of Binay Yadav and added that police are conducting raids to arrest them too. He said cases are pending against Binay Yadav and Narayan Tiwari in Rohtas district and added a hand of Narayan Tiwari was blown up in an explosion when he was making a bomb about 10 years ago.
