Police arrest 123 persons under `Operation Vishwas’

Patna: Under `Operation Vishwas’, different police stations across Patna district on Thursday carried out raids against those involved in manufacture and sale of liquor in the district. According to a press release issued by Patna SSP office, altogether 123 persons had been arrested from different police station in Patna district. Police also seized 3,096 litre mahua liquor, 156 kg ganja, 2,150 kg mahua jawa, 75 litre toddy, 34 bottles of English liquor and destroy several bhattis (liquor manufacturing units) also.
