Patna : Poland beat Japan 1-0 in a Group H match of FIFA World Cup 2018 on June 28, 2018, at Volgograd Arena, Russia. Poland were, however, eliminated from the tournament as finished with just 3 points.Defender Jan Bednarek scored the winning goal for Poland in the 59th minute. It was Bednarek’s first international goal.
It is the third consecutive World Cup tournament that Poland have been eliminated in the group stages Colombia topped the Group H with 6 points while Japan and Senegal finished with 4 points each. Colombi and Japan have qualified for the knock out stage.
