Patna : A post-graduate (PG) student of Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) Dr Amit Kumar was arrested on April 8, 2017, for sexually exploiting a Patna girl for the past one year promising to marry her. An FIR was lodged in this connection with Pirbahore police station, Patna, by the girl.
SHO, Pirbahore police station, Qaiser Alam confirmed the arrest of Dr Amit Kumar. The SHO said that Dr Amit Kumar, who hails from Maharashtra, had admitted he had been exploiting the year girl for the past been one year. The SHO said that the girl’s medical examination had been done and her statement had also been recorded before the court.
