PM to lay foundation of National Centre for Aging at AIIMS, Delhi

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on June 29, 2018. He will lay the foundation stone of the National Centre for Aging at AIIMS. This will provide the older population with multi-speciality healthcare. It will have 200 general ward beds.

During the same event, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the 555-bed Super Speciality Block at Safdarjung Hospital. He will also dedicate the 500-bed New Emergency Block at Safdarjung Hospital, 300-bed Power Grid Vishram Sadan at AIIMS, and the Connection Motorable Tunnel between AIIMS, Ansari Nagar and Trauma Centre, according to a PIB release.
