PM Modi to address NDA rally at Patna on Mar. 3

Patna : PM Narendra Modi will address an NDA rally at Patna on March 3, 2019, with Bihar CM and JD(U) national President Nitish Kumar and Union minister and LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan where the NDA will sound the bugle for the Lok Sabha polls in the state.
Announcing this at a presser here on January 27, 2019, the JD(U), BJP and LJP leaders said CM Nitish Kumar and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan have given their consent for attending the rally while an invitation was being sent to PM Modi.
They said that BJP president Amit Shah will also be requested to attend the rally, where workers of all the three NDA constituents would gather from across the state. The NDA rally would be the first occasion for Modi and Nitish to share stage at a political function in Bihar. Bihar JD(U) President Bashistha Naraian Singh and State BJP president Nityanand Rai addressed the press conference. 

The NDA leaders reiterated that candidates to be fielded by the respective NDA constituents would be finalised in due course and said that the date of March 3 was agreed upon as all the constituents favoured one such public meeting before the poll schedule is announced.

The NDA rally will be held exactly a month after Congress’ “Jan Akanksha Rally” to be addressed AICC President Rahul Gandhi. It will be his first public meeting in Bihar after becoming the Congress president. The NDA leaders said they were not bothered about the Congress president.
