PM Modi speaks to Maharashtra CM after rain in Mumbai

New Delhi : PM Narendra Modi on August 29, 2017, spoke to Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis on the situation arising due to incessant rain in Mumbai and surrounding areas. The Prime Minister has assured all possible support from Center to the government of Maharashtra in mitigating the situation due to heavy rains in parts of the state.

Centre assures all possible support to the government of Maharashtra in mitigating the situation due to heavy rains in parts of the state. Urge the people of Mumbai and surrounding areas to stay safe and take all essential precautions in the wake of the heavy rain,” the Prime Minister said, according to a PIB release.
