New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 17, 2020, paid tributes to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his 100^th Birth Anniversary. In a tweet, Prime Minister Modi said that Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is remembered for his courage and indelible contribution to Bangladesh’s progress.

PM Modi will address Jatir Pita of Bangladesh’s 100^th Birth Anniversary celebrations via video link, on March 17 evening. Due to COVID-19, the events planned for March 17 in Bangladesh will be without any public gatherings, according to a PIB release.
