PM Modi & Nobel Laureate Abhijit Banerjee hold discussion on various subjects

New Delhi : Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee called on PM Narendra Modi on October 22, 2019, and held an extensive interaction on various subjects with him.

“Excellent meeting with Nobel Laureate Abhijit Banerjee. His passion towards human empowerment is clearly visible. We had a healthy and extensive interaction on various subjects. India is proud of his accomplishments. Wishing him the very best for his future endeavours,” PM Modi said in a tweet, according to a PIB release.

Abhijit Banerjee is an Indian-born American professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. He has won Nobel in economics jointly with wife Esther Duflo and Michael Kremer.
