New Delhi : PM Narendra Modi on September 17, 2017, congratulated Badminton Player P V Sindhu on winning Korea Open Super Series title. PM Modi, according to a PIB release, said, “Congratulations to P V Sindhu on emerging victorious in the Korea Open Super Series. India is immensely proud of her accomplishment.”
P V Sindhu on September 17 defeated Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara 22-20, 11-21, 20-18 to clinch the women’s singles title at the Korea Open Super Series in Seoul. Sindhu had lost to Okuhara in the World Championship final in Glasgow last month.
