New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 14, 2020, condoled the passing away of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. “Sushant Singh Rajput…a bright young actor gone too soon. He excelled on TV and in films. His rise in the world of entertainment inspired many and he leaves behind several memorable performances. Shocked by his passing away. My thoughts are with his family and fans. Om Shant,” the Prime Minister said, according to a PIB release.

It may be mentioned here that bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found hanging at his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020. His last film was “Chhichhore” directed by Nitesh Tiwari. He committed suicide at his residence at Bandra, Mumbai. Police are investigating into the incident. No suicide note was found from the spot.
