New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 6, 2021, condoled the death of former Union Minister and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) Chief Chaudhary Ajit Singh, 82.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister expressed deep grief on the death of Chaudhary Ajit Singh. The Prime Minister recalled his dedication to the welfare of farmers and his able handling of various portfolios in the Union Government. PM Modi conveyed his condolences to his family and admirers.

It may be mentioned here that RLD chief died at a Gurugram hospital in Haryana due to Covid-19 May 6, 2021. He had tested positive for Covid-19 a fortnight back.
