Sitamarhi: The BSNL landline phones and broadband internet services in Sheohar town remain out of order for the last two months due to multiple cable cuts. Official and private landline telephones are not working properly causing a lot of problems to the consumers. The BSNL officials blame the national highway officials for the situation saying they used several heavy machines including JCBs for widening NH 104 that damaged the running cable system. BSNL Sheohar SDO Vinit Ranjan said that the alternative route for cable laying had been cleares and services would be restored soon.
