New Delhi : The phenomenal increase in the number of Coronavirus patients getting cured continues in India reaching 5,15,385 at 8 am on July 11, 2020, an increase of 19,873 exceeding the total number of active cases by 2,31,978. Coronavirus death toll, on the other hand, has jumped to 22,123 with 519 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country including 226 from Maharshtra and 57 from Karnataka.
COVID-19 death toll break-up in India is : Maharashtra (9,893), Delhi (3,300), Gujarat (2,022), Tamilnadu (1,829), UP (889), West Bengal (880), MP (638), Rajasthan (497), Karnataka (543), Telengana (339), Haryana (290), Andhra Pradesh (292), Punjab (187), J&K (159), Bihar (119), Odisha (56), Uttarakhand (46), Kerala (27), Assam (27), Jharkhand (23), Chhattisgarh (17), Puducherry (17), Himachal Pradesh (11), Goa (9), Chandigarh (7), Arunachal Pradesh (2), Meghalaya (2), Ladakh (1), and Tripura (1).
In Maharashtra, 1,32,625 patients have been declared cured till date followed by 84,694 in Delhi, 82,324 in Tamilnadu, and 10,109 in Bihar.
