Pelting of stones on procession creates tension at Bhagalpur

Bhagalpur : Pelting of stones on a religious procession by some miscreants in Champanala area under Nathnagar police station in Bhagalpur district on March 17, 2018, created tension as people were injured in the incident. The procession was taken out on the occasion of ‘Pratipada’. Angry over the stone pelting, a mob damaged several vehicles and set two bikes afire. The local traders downed shutters of their business establishments after the incident. But, police soon brought the situation under control.
