Patrolling continues on Dhanbad – Chandrapura rail route

Dhanbad ( Jharkhand) : Taking no chance, Dhanbad district administration continues with round the clock patrolling of  entire  Dhanbad–Chandrapura (DC)  rail route which did not witness any untoward incident on June 16, 2017.

Heavy deployment of more than four companies of security forces continued even on June 16 at all sensitive spots on the entire 34 km DC route which witnessed violence and attack on railway property on June 15. 

Dhanbad Senior SP Ratan Mohan Chouthey said that the situation was peaceful on June 16 and no protest was witnessed from any part  of the district including at Katras which observed  complete Bandh on June 15, when the running of trains on the DC route was stopped due to raging underground fire in the area.

“ Round the clock patrolling at all major spots on 34km  rail stretch  from Dhanbad to Chandrapura  where plying of all passenger and Express trains  have been  stopped will continue  till situation returns to complete normal,” said the SSP.
