Patna: Forty-six shops, institutions and private offices in state capital have been ordered to remain shut for three days for not maintaining social distance and asked to appear before the DM’s court personally or through their lawyers within 24 hours. Patna DM Kumar Ravi issued order for their closure for three days after gross violation of social distancing was seen at these shops.
It may be mentioned here that taking serious note of spurt in spread of Coronavirus, Patna DM Kumar Ravi had ordered for running awareness campaign for wearing masks and maintaining social distance besides conduction raids to take action against violators. Raids were carried out in different areas of state capital and 46 shops, establishments, and private offices were found violating rules. There was no arrangement for masks and sanitiser at these establishments nor social distance  was being maintained. A report was submitted to Patna DM in this connection, who ordered for their closure for three days.
The shops against whom closure order has been issued by the DM are mostly located on Boring Road, Verma Centre,  Kurji Mor,
Show-room of two-wheeler in Patliputra Industrial Area, Polytechnic Mor, Patliputra Colony, Exhibition Road, Frazer Road, Dakbunglow,
Mithapur, Phulwareisharif, and Anisabad.
