Patna: Patna Disatrict Administration team checked 501 shops in the district on July 6, 2020, and slapped notices on 93 shops and business establishments for not maintaining social distancing.  Fifty shop owners were asked to shut their shops for three days.

Patna District Administration has constituted  several teams to check whether shops and private establishments are following the rules of social distancing. The rasids are being conducted on the directive of Patna DM Kumar Ravi. Till date, 1,289 shops have been checked and notices had been served on 245 while 141 shops were directed to close for three days.
Meanwhile, Patna DM has directed the officials and employees to intensify the drive and ensure 100% compliance of standard operating procedure. For effective implementation of unlock-2, the DM has directed all SDOs to monitor the operations under their respective jurisdiction. DM Ravi said that in view of a spurt in Coronavirus infection, every person must wear masks and maintain social distance.
Altogether 320 shops were checked under Patna Sadar area and 58 of them were served notices. Sixteen shops have been closed for three
days. In Patna City, 35 shops were checked sand all them were slapped with notices. Thirteen shops were directed to shut down.
Under Danapur sub-division, 50 shops were checked while order was given for closure of seven shops. Under Masaurhi sub-division, four
shops were checked.
Till date, altogether 1,008 shops had been checked under Patna Sadar and notices had been served on 168 shops. Order was issued to shut
down 67 shops for not complying with social distancing.
