Patna: To ensure effective implementation of Unlock- 2, eight team of Patna District Administration teams continue to raid shops and take action against them for not complying with rules of social distancing. Raids were conducted under all sub-divisions of the
district on July 5, 2020. Raids were carried out at 108 shops on July 5 and notices were served onĀ  58 shops of which 33 shops were closed.

Under Patna Sadar, notices were served on 14 shops of which four were closed. Under Patna City subdivision, 27 shops were slapped notices of which 20 shops were closed. Under Danapur subdivision, three shops were raided and closed. Under Masaurhi sub-sdivision, four shops were issued notice and and all of them were closed. Under Paliganj sub-division, notices were served on 10 shops while under
Barh sub-division, two shops were closed.
Raids have been conducted at 776 shops/business establishments in the district so far and 166 shops were slapped notices of which 88 shops were closed.
Patna DM Kumar Ravi has appealed to the people to use masks, sanitiser, and maintain social distance of two yards in view of recent spurt in COVID-19 infection.
