Patna Book Fair from Nov 10 to 21

Patna : The 24th Patna Book Fair 2017 will be held at Patna Gandhi Maidan from November 10 to November 21. The Book Fair will be spread over an area of 1 lakh square feet. The timing of the book fair will be from 12 pm till 8 pm. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, it will be 11 am -9 pm. It is being organized by Centre for Readership Development (CRD) since 1985.

Patna Book Fair has become a landmark in the social and cultural sphere of Bihar and people from every  section of the society throng it. The Patna Book Fair offers a wide range of books from more than 1,000 publishers of repute in all categories ranging from children books to illustrated books, from hobby books to history books and  from text books to dictionaries. Celebrities from art and culture, authors, writers and thinkers come to the Fair and participate in seminars, symposiums talks and debates conducted for the benefit of the visitors, according a press relesae issued by the CRD.

For school going children, it will be free, and for college students it will be free on production of College ID cards. There will be other literary activities inside the fair campus including seminars, book reading sessions, Kavi sammelans, debates, dance competitions, cultural programs, quizzes etc.
