Ara : Security Department, Danapur Division, East Central Railway, Hajipur,  on June 10, 2021, launched a Passenger Awareness programme related to security at Ara railway station including at eastern railway crossing gate No 48/ A to mark the International Level Crossing Awareness Day.

Station Manager, Ara railway station, Praveen Kumar, and Traffic Inspector N K Rai urged the people to follow safety rules while crossing the manned or unmanned railway crossings. They said that the people should ensure their security prior to crossing the railway crossing and added that when the gates are closed, they should not try to cross the railway crossing. They requested the people to remain alert while crossing the railway track. They said that people should stop their vehicles, look at their left and right and only when no train is coming on track, they should cross the rail track.

Praveen Kumar and N K Rai said that the programme would continue for a week under Danapur rail division. The railway employees will launch special security campaign at level crossing gates and tell the people and vehicle owners about the precaution to follow while crossing railway crossing. They stated that to make the people aware of the security and safety, slogans, banners, posters related to security and safety will be put on railway crossing and roadside plays will be performed by the Scout and Guide, Railway Culture Team, Railway Civil Defense, Rail Sports. The people will be asked not to use earphones and other electronic devices while crossing level crossing gates.More than 10 equal railway crossing including 6 unmanned fall under Danapur  division.
