Patna L Pakistan were all out for 294 in their second innings in the 2nd test against South Africa, at Newlands, Cape Town, South Africa, on day 3 on January 5, 2019, with fast bowlers Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada taking four wickets each and Vernon Philander and Duanne Olivier taking one wicket each. For Pkistan, Asad Shafiq top scored with 88 with 12 fours and six, Babar Azam scoring 72 with 15 fours, and opener Shan Masood scoring 61 with 9 fours.

Pakistan, who had scored 177 in their first innings, lead by just 40 runs. Pakistan’s 4th wicket fell at 194 and they were looking good for a big score but collapsed to be all out for 294. South need to score just 41 runs to win the 2nd test and take 2-0 lead in the three-test series. Earlier, South Africa were all out for 431 in their first innings.
