Patna : Opting to bat after winning the toss, Pakistan were all out for 162 in 43.1 overs against India in their Asia Cup ODI match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, on September 19, 2018, riding on a 82 run partnership between Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik for the third wicket. Babar made 47 with 6 four while Shoaib was run out for 43 with a six and a four.

Earlier, Pakistan made a disastrous start to their innings losing their first two wickets for just three runs with Bhuvaneshwar Kumar accounting for both the wickets. Opener Imam-ul-Haq made 2 while Fakhar Zaman was out without scoring. Captain and wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed made 6 while Asif Ali was out for 9. Faheem Ashraf made 21 while fast bowler Mohammad Amir remained unbeaten on 18. Shadab Khan made 8. Pakistan could score only 25 runs in first 10 overs ( power play).

For India, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar took 3/15 in 7 overs while Kedar Jadhav took 3/23 in 9 overs. Jasprit Bumrah took 2/23 in 7.1 overs while Kuldeep Yadav took 1/37 in 8 0vers. Yuzvendra Chahal failed to get any wicket in his 7 overs.
