Patna : Chasing a target of 267, Pakistan were 181/6 after 40 overs against New Zealand in the first of the three-match ODI series at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE, on November 7, 2018, late night, with Imad Wasim batting on 37 with 2 sixes and captain and wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed batting on 59 with 6 fours. Sarfraz and Imad Wasim have added 96 runs for the 7th wicket. Pakistan need 86 runs in 60 balls to win the match.

New Zealand pacer Trent Boult took hat-trick in his second over taking the wickets of Fakhar Zaman (1), Babar Azam (0), and Mohammad Hafeez (0). Colin de Grandhomme, Ish Sodhi, and Lockie Ferguson have taken one one wicket each.

Earlier, New Zealand had scored 266/9 in 50 over with Ross Tayor scoring 80 and wicketkeeper Tom Latham 68.
