Chas (Jharkhand) : With a view to catering latest information relating to higher  studies and career opportunities for commerce students, DPS Chas in Bokaro District on July 1, 2020, conducted an exclusive interaction Webinar named ‘Udai – The Rising’ which was addressed  by leading educationists, financial experts and industry leaders of the country.

More than 800 students from 10 states of the country–Delhi, Punjab, Telengana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand, .Chattisgarh, Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand participated in the webinar held on July 1 afternoon.
This was the first such webinar organised here putting spotlight on how students can master a course while still in school and even take international degrees and how to get admission in best colleges of their choice besides giving giving valuable tips on employment.
The main guests on the occasion were Ranjith Verma, Krishna Mishra, and Pratik Priyadarshi.
Pratik Priyadarshi, the Associate Professor of Birla Institute of Management Technology with over 30 years of experience in different positions, delivered the keynote address. He remarked, Do not be afraid of change, have no fear of the unknown rather know the facts and be ready for the change. He voiced his concern on competitions and said not everyone stands first in the class. Each child must be acknowledged for his uniqueness and learning abilities. No two children should be compared. The youth energy should be channelised in a positive direction. Right from Class XI look for opportunities – “Be a winner in your own area” and avail the opportunities available during the Covid 19.”
Dr Hemlata S Mohan, the main Architect of this programme, expressed her happiness over large participation of students and acknowledged the important role of teachers and parents in guiding the youth towards aspiration and achieving the goal.
The programme was moderated by Pro-VC of the school N Muralidharan while Shashwat Pandey proposed vote of thanks. The Officiating Principal Shailaja Jayakumar delivered the welcome address and introduced the panelists.
