Ara : In a clash in between members of a family, one person was beaten to death at village Laxmanpur under Bahoranpur police outpost in Bhojpur district on August 2, 2020, morning.
The deceased was identified as Jyoti Rajak, 26, son of Mahavir Rajak of Laxmanpur under Bahoranpur police outpost in Bhojpur district. He had multiple injury marks on his body. Later, police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged with Bahoranpur police outpost in this connection. No arrest has been made so far in the case.
SHO, Incharge, Bahoranpur police outpost, Pyarelal Chaudhary, said that family members clashed on August 2 morning over uprooting of a government handpump in which one Jyoti Rajak was beaten to death.
