Sitamarhi : One Prakash Kumar Mishra, 25, drowned to death while his two friends including a Nepal national Dipak Kumar went missing while taking dip in river Bagmati near Bairgania rail bridge in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar on November 12, 2019, early morning.
Prakash and his three friends had gone to take a dip in river Bagmati on the occasion of Kartik Purnima on November 12 early morning. All of them went into deep water of the river and but slipped due to fast current. Other pilgrims rushed towards them. Prakash was fished out dead whereas Sudhanshu was rescued and has been admitted to a private Nursing Home. Rahul Kumar and Nepal national Dipak Kumar are still missing and SDRF team is searching for them .Sadar SDO Kumar Gaurav confirmed death of one person in the incident.
