Buxar: A woman was killed while her son and nephew were seriously injured in a head on collision between a bike and a three-wheeler near village Hukaha under Buxar Muffassil police station on Tuesday evening. Police admitted the injured to Buxar Sadar Hospital and also brought the body over there for post-mortem. Police seized the three – wheeler and arrested the driver Sandeep Ram.
The SHO, Buxar Muffassil Police station, said that Hayderi Khatoon, wife of Anwar Khan of Tukkpurva village under Chausa police station in Buxar district along with her son Tariq Khan and nephew Raja Khan had gone to the hospital to see her brother-in-law (devar) on Tuesday. When they were returning on motorcycle, a speeding three – wheeler collided head on with the motorcycle near Hukaha village in which Hayderi Khatoon was killed on the spot and Tariq Khan and Raja Khan were seriously injured. After the accident, the three- wheeler driver Sandeep Ram escaped from the scene leaving the vehicle behind but the police later arrested him.
