Ara: A youth was killed while two others were injured when a speeding vehicle collided head on with a motorcycle near Piparhiya mor under Jagdishpur police station on Ara-Sasaram main road on Wednesday evening. Angry villagers blocked Ara- Sasaram road for about two hours demanding compensation to the deceased’s family besides a government job. The blockade was lifted after positive assurance from the officials. Later, the police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and also admitted the injured there.
Sunil Kumar, son of Rameshwar Singh, along with his two friends was returning to his native village Neharpokhar under Jagdishpur police station from Garhani on Wednesday evening. When they reached near Piparhia mor, their motorcycle collided head on with a speeding vehicle in which Sunil Kumar died on spot while his friends Dheeraj Kumar of Garhani and Harishankar of Neharpokhar were injured.
