One killed, 10 injured in gas cylinder explosion in Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur : One child died and ten others received serious injuries when a gas cylinder which was being used to fill gas into balloons exploded at a Muharram fair near Mirapur Dedoul under Sakra police station in  Muzaffarpur district on Wednesday. The SHO of Sakra police station confirmed the incident. He said all the six injured had been admitted to Sakra referral hospital. Police are investigating into the reason behind the explosion. DM Dharmendra   Singh and SSP Vivek Kumar reached the spot and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh to next of the kin of the deceased. They said that those  injured in the incident would be treated at the government cost. The district administration has ordered a high level inquiry into the explosion.
