Ara : One person was killed and six others were injured in a violent group clash at village Durjanchak under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on September 28, 2020, afternoon.

Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. Land dispute is said to be cause behind the incident. Police are camping in the area in view of tension which prevails there following the incident.

SHO, Koelwar police station, said that land dispute was going on between two groups at Durjanchak village for long. On September 28,  both the groups assembled at the village community hall where they had heated exchange and later got involved  in a violent clash. The members of both the groups opened fire in which one person was killed while six others were injured.
