Buxar : A youth was killed while two others were injured when a speeding car rammed head-on two bicycles near Akhaurapur Gola on Chausa-Banarpur main road under Buxar Muffasil police station (PS) in Buxar District in South Bihar on February 21, 2021, and overturned and skid to the edge of the road.

Police brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured to the same hospital. The deceased was identified as Chhote Lal Ram, 18, while the injured were identified as Musafir Dhobi, 70, and Pankaj Kumar, 18, of Banarpur village. All the three were labourers.

SHO, Buxar Muffasil PS, said that Musafir Dhobi, Pankaj Kumar, and Chhote Lal Ram were going on two bicycles to Chausa to work. When they reached near Akhauripur Gola on Chausa-Banarpur main road, a speeding car collided head-on with the bicycles and also overturned on the road. All the three injured persons were admitted to Chausa Primary Health Centre but the doctors referred them to the Buxar Sadar Hospital where Chhote Lal Ram succumbed to his injuries. The doctor referred Pankaj Kumar to Patna Medical College and Hospital in view of his serious condition.
