One killed, 1 injured in Bhojpur road mishap

Ara : A motorcycle borne youth was killed while the pillion rider was injured near Lahathan bridge on Agiao Bazaar –  Sonbarsha road under Agiao Bazaar police station on January 15, 2019.

Police brought the body to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased was identified as Chandan Kumar, son of Ramesh Singh of village Pilapur under Kesath police station in Kaimur district. The injured was identified as Ramesh Singh of the same village.

SHO Agiao Bazaar police station, said that Chandan Kumar along with his friend Ramesh Singh had gone to his sister’s place  at Amayi-Dihara village in Rohtas district with chuda and gud (flat rice and jaggery) on the eve on ‘makarsankranti.’ He was returning on January 15 morning to his native village. When he reached near Lahthan bridge on Agiao Bazaar -Sonbarsha road under Agiao Bazaar police station, he lost control over his motorcycle and fell on the ground and died on the spot while his friend Ramesh Singh was seriously injured, the SHO said.
