Patna : Prakash Das, Chief Engineer, Flood Control and Drainage, Birpur, Supaul, six Executive Engineers (EEs), and two Junior Engineers (JEs) of Water Resources Department (SWRD) were found absent from their places of posting on November 22, 2018, during random cellphone tracking by Joint Secretary, WRD, Gorakhnath, IAS. The department has decided to take stern action against all of them after inquiry to be conducted by senior officers.
The 6 Executive Engineers found absent during mobile tracking were Abdul Qayum, EE ( Mechanical), Valmikinagar, Jitendra Jha, EE ( Mechanical), Darbhanga, Arvind Kumar, EE, North Canal Division, Aurangabad, Shailendra Kumar, EE, Flood Control Division, Ara, Satyajit, EE, Flood Control Dision, Katihar, and Anil Kumar, EE, Flood Control Division, Naugachia. The twoJunior Engineers found absent were ; Kishore Kunal, JE, East Embankment Sub-Division, Chandrayan, and Rajani Ranjan, JE, East Embankment Sub-Division, Koparia.
