Saharsa : The official vehicle ( Scorpio) of Block Development Officer (BDO), Kahra, in Saharsa District in North Bihar, was stolen by unidentified thieves on April 9, 2021, late night, from her private residence. BDO Rachna Bharti confirmed theft of Scorpio and added that SHO, Sadar police station PS), Saharsa, has been informed about it.
The Scorpio belonged to one Vijay Kumar Vimal, which had been hired on rent by the administration to facilitate the movement of BDO, Kahra. BDO Rachna Bharti was using the vehicle since 2020 with a Government driver Mahesh Paswan driving it. SHO, Sadar PS, Rajmani, said that police had received a complaint regarding the vehicle theft and steps were on to recover the same at the earliest.
