Patna : New Zealand (NZ) hammered West Indies (WI) by 72 runs in the 2nd T20I at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, on November 29, 2020, sealing the series with 2-0 lead with Glenn Philipps scoring 108 in just 51 balls hitting 10 fours and 8 sixes and Devon Conway scoring an unbeaten 65 in 37 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes. Glenn Phillips was named Player Of The Match for his hurricane knock, his first T20I century.

WI had won the toss and opted to bowl. NZ scored 238/3 in 20 overs while WI scored 166/9 in 20 overs with captain Kieron Pollard scoring 28 in 15 balls hitting 3 sixes and Shimron Hetmyer scoring 25 in 32 balls with 2 fours.

Batting first NZ openers Martin Guptill and Tim Seifert (wk) added 49 runs in 5.4 overs for first wicket.
