Patna : New Zealand (NZ) were 157/5 in 45 overs in their first innings in 2nd test against South Africa (SA) at stumps on day 2 at Hagley Oval, Christchurch, NZ, on February 26, 2022, with batting all-roundre Colin de Grandhomme, 35, unbeaten on 54 in 61 balls hitting 7 fours and 2 sixes and bowling all-rounder Daryl Mitchell, 30, batting on on 29 in 78 balls with 4 fours. NZ lead the two-match test series 1-0.

Spinner Keshav Maharaj scored 36 runs in 50 balls hammering 6 fours. Keshav Maharaj and Jansen added 62 runs for the 9th wicket.
