Patna: A 20-year old First Year nursing student Neha Kumari committed suicide in her hostel room on of Kurji Holy Family Hospital premisese under Patliputra Colony police station late on  December 14 night. She was a resident of Road number-1 in Gardanibagh locality, Patna, and her father Kamlesh Kumar is a businessman.
However, the deceased’s father has lodged a complaint against the Kurji Hospital administration besides her roommates with Patliputra police station alleging that his daughter had been murdered. Neha’s uncle Mukesh Kumar Mukul said that the family members were informed about the tragic incident at around 8 am December 15. He said that the family members were informed that the girl had committed suicide late on December 14 night.
Mukesh claimed that Neha was a brilliant student so there was absolutely no possibility of her committing suicide. He alleged that her niece had been murdered and it was given the look of suicide. “How can we believe that Neha has committed suicide as the nursing classes were not been suspended after the tragic incident,” he said adding that five girls, who were also sharing room with Neha, were not allowed to meet the family members by the hospital administration. Mukesh said that they have submitted a complaint with the local police station against Kurji hospital administration and five roommates of Neha alleging that she had been murdered.
When contacted, Patliputra police station SHO Sanjeev Jha said that no suicide note was found in the room where the girl had
allegedly committed suicide. He said that when the cops reached the spot, they found the girl hanging from the ceiling of the room. He said that prima facie it seems that the girl has committed suicide. He, however, added that it would be premature to comment on the incident at this stage. Everything would be clear only after the police get the autopsy report, the SHO added.
