Sitamarhi : A Nurse of a private Nursing Home at Sitamarhi Ankita Pandey died while its owner Dr Shiv Shankar Mahto was seriously injured as a few bike borne unidentified criminals fired indiscriminately at the nursing home located in front of Circuit House on Dumra Road in the wee hours on August 25, 2021.
Nursing Home owner Dr Shiv Shankar Mahto received three bullet shots and is under treatment at a private hospital. One of the nurses of the Nursing Home Ankita Pandey sustained bullet injuries and died on way to a nursing home. She was a native of village Sutihara underParihaar police station in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar. The criminals entered the nursing home when Dr Shiv Shankar Mahto and his staff reached there from somewhere by car.
Sitamarhi SP Har Kishore Rai visited the place of occurrence and took stock of the situation. The SP assured the family members of the slain Nurse and injured Nursing Home owner Dr Mahto as well as the locals that none would be spared. Meanwhile, locals suspect family feud might be the cause of the shootout. Police are quizzing the nephew of Dr Mahto.
